- 1⁄2 chopped onion
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups boiling chicken broth or 2 cups boiling salt water
directions
- preheat the oven to 375.
- saute the onion in 2 tablespoons of the butter until translucent.
- add the rice and stir until well coated.
- add the chicken broth or salted water, cover and bake for about 18 minutes.
- gently mix in the rest of the butter and serve right away.
