  • Rinse and clean sweet potato, making 6-8 deep holes in it with a fork.
  • Cook in the microwave on high for 12-14 minutes, turning the potato upside down in the middle of the cooking process.
  • Open the potato with a knife and add butter.
  • Return potato to the microwave and cook one more minute at 80% of power.
  • Add sugar and pecans.
  • Serve immediately.
