1. Absolutely delicious. Cook as directed but add garlic and olive oil to the ziti and pasta sauce mixture and top off the dish with a heavy dose of mozzarella cheese before baking.

 2. I made this baked ziti and was super disappointed. There's too much spinach in there. Also it doesn't tell you what to do with the mozzarella, and I forgot about it and had to interrupt the cooking time to sprinkle it on. I think removing the tin foil towards the end would be a good idea, so it might brown on top. Basically though, it just tasted not good. I added salt, which helped a bit. I'm sure there are better spinach baked ziti recipes out there. I wish I would have picked on before I spent the effort on this one.

 3. I had originally planned a crockpot dish for tonight using spinach and ricotta but realized too late that I was out of milk, so I searched and found this recipe. I loved it! It took me less than an hour to make (start to finish) and I love that it incorporates veggies. Next time I may try adding meat, as other reviewers have suggested to make it a complete one-dish meal.

The only change I made to the recipe was that I used one box of spinach, and I had thawed it so instead of cooking and cooling it before mixing it with the ricotta, I mixed the thawed spinach as is. I think if I had added the second box of spinach, the kids may have refused to eat it altogether. One liked it and the other, not so much. The only other comment I have on this recipe is that I think the final part of step 3 is missing, which is to sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top after the last layer of ziti. I then covered with foil for 15 min and removed it for the last 10 min. I'll definitely be making this again.

 4. Great recipe. I also added a pound of lean ground beef to make my carnivores happy, cooking the beef with some onion, crushed garlic, italian seasoning, basil and crushed red pepper. This made a BIG recipe, 3 adults and one child ate 2 dinners and still have enough leftovers for one lunch...We enjoyed this, thanks for posting!

 5. I made this the other night and it was great! I was looking for something easy that included spinach and ground turkey, this had everything I had on hand except the turkey so I added a pound of turkey and it was great! My husband gobbled it up and said I need to make it again soon!
