Balsamic Carrot Slaw

ingredients
- 2 lbs carrots, shredded
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup
- 1 large onion, chopped fine
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 3⁄4 cup light olive oil
- 1⁄2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- garlic, to taste (optional)
directions
- Peel and grate the carrots.
- Steam them for 10 minutes (until crisp/tender) adding the frozen peas the last 4 minutes.
- Mix the ingredients for the dressing, adding onions last.
- Toss with the carrots and chill.
