“We have a LOT of shrimp right now! Saw something similar in an old cookbook & decided to play with it. Makes a very nice appetizer or could become a great main course, your choice! Hope you enjoy!”

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 2 tablespoons butter (I use the real thing)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar or 2 tablespoons vinaigrette, either will work fine
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 dash hot sauce
  • 14 teaspoon seafood seasoning, we use Chesapeake Bay
  • 1 dozen large shrimp, peeled, with or without tail

Directions

  1. In fry pan, over medium heat, melt butter.
  2. Add minced garlic, cook 1 minute, don't let it brown.
  3. Add Vinegar, hot sauce & seasoning.
  4. Bring to boil and add shrimp.
  5. Cook until shrimp are just done, 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Remove & keep warm.
  7. Reduce sauce by about 1/3, pour over shrimp & serve.
  8. Goes well with some bread to "Sop up the Sauce"!
