Banana and Walnut Muffins (Very Healthy)

"This recipe is from Dr Sandra Cabot's liver cleansing diet book. The recipe is healthy and tastes great. I usually chop the walnuts up so they are quite small, I find it easier to eat that way."

  1. I just tried this recipe and loved it so much that i set up an account just to review it! I used coconut oil instead of olive oil, added some sultanas and dried apricots and replaced one tbsp of the honey with soy milk. Tastes awesome and is super moist! I didn't miss the sugar at all! Highly recommended! :D

  2. Made this today and added an egg white to it, so can't say exactly how it would be without that. Very nice - definitely notice that it is not too sweet and the texture is good as well.

  3. These are delicious. They are moist , tasty and healthy. I gave my book away and could not find this recipe and was thrilled to find it here. LSA is a mixture of ground flax seed, slice almonds, and sunflower seeds. Whole meal is whole wheat flour.
