  • In a small pan, heat milk until simmering.
  • Add banana and berries, stir, then add oatmeal and wheat germ.
  • Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until milk is absorbed.
  • Let stand 2 minutes.
  • Sweeten with honey.

  1. This was really good and easy to make. I especially liked the banana-honey taste together. I made this with fat free soy milk and used frozen blueberries. (I thawed them in the mircrowave first) It gave the oatmeal a really pretty purpleish color. It does make more than I would consider for one serving though, unless you are really hungry. Great recipe. Thanks.
     
  2. A nice simple enjoyable breakfast for one. I used grapes, saskatoons, and bluebrries for the berries witch tasted great with the banana! I will probaly make this often during the winter since i have a whole bunch of frozen berries and always have bananas on the connter! Thanks for the recipe!
