- 1 cup nonfat milk
- 1 small banana, chopped
- 1⁄4 cup chopped berries
- 1⁄2 cup oatmeal
- 2 tablespoons toasted wheat germ
- 1 tablespoon honey
directions
- In a small pan, heat milk until simmering.
- Add banana and berries, stir, then add oatmeal and wheat germ.
- Simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until milk is absorbed.
- Let stand 2 minutes.
- Sweeten with honey.

This was really good and easy to make. I especially liked the banana-honey taste together. I made this with fat free soy milk and used frozen blueberries. (I thawed them in the mircrowave first) It gave the oatmeal a really pretty purpleish color. It does make more than I would consider for one serving though, unless you are really hungry. Great recipe. Thanks.
