- 1⁄2 cup margarine, room temperature
- 1⁄4 cup honey
- 2 eggs
- 3 bananas, mashed
- 1⁄4 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 cup oats
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (can sub 1/4 flex with 1/4 flour)

This was excellent! Great flavor, and very moist. Even with my modifications, which included using oil instead of butter, soured milk instead of buttermilk, and walnuts instead of pecans. Also, I added semi-sweet chocolate chips. Thanks for posting! I will definitely make again. NOTE: the weird size of the pan. I accidentally put it into a normal sized loaf pan, I was worried it would cook over, but it didn't - had to bake extra, so turned the heat down after I realized my mistake, got very dark but still turned out great. Next time I will use recommended pan size.
