  • Peel and put bananas in a bowl with plenty of salted iced water.
  • Slice bananas with a chip slicer, then put back into water.
  • Next, mix in the ground turmeric.
  • Leave the bananas in the turmeric water mixture for 10 minutes, then remove from water.
  • Spread out on a kitchen cloth to get rid of moisture.
  • Heat up the oil in a wok till smoky.
  • Fry banana slices in one-layer batches for a minute or two or until crisp.
  • Lift chips out with slotted spoon and remove to paper towels to drain, sprinkle with salt before serving and enjoy.
