1. Tasted great! They were more cake like rather than fishy though. Glad I used extra banana or I think it may have been dry. I used a 13x9 pan and followed the recipe but took everything 1 1/2 times to make up for the add'l pan space. Used 3 medium organic bananas. Took them out about 10 minutes early.

 2. I did not care for these at all. I undercooked the brownies by 5 minutes as anmother reviewer suggested, to make them a bit more fudgier, but they weren't fudgey at all. At first bite they were good, but a few hours later, thet became dry, and the next day they were really dry and crumbly. Also, the taste of the banana hardly came through. Perhaps 2 bananas added, would of made the browines more moist and the taste of the banana would of came through. Sorry, but I was disappointed with this recipe, but I'm glad to see others enjoyed the brownies!

 3. these are great! Followed the recipe exactly - but use a "heavy hand" with chocolate chips - so it was a heaping cup full at first and then stir in a heaping 1/2 cup. I like to undercook my brownies to make them fudgier - so I took them out after 40 minutes at 325 degrees - perfect!

 4. I made a few substitutions and they still turned out really well.

Instead of butter I used extra virgin coconut oil.

Instead of brown sugar, I used about 1/3 cup coconut sugar and 1/3 cup honey. (They could have been a tiny bit sweeter though.)

Instead of flour and melted chocolate, I used just under 1/2 cup cocoa powder and filled the rest of the measuring cup up to 3/4 with ground almonds.

I added a handful of crushed walnuts and chocolate chips.

I baked them in a pan slightly larger than what the recipe specified, but they were so light and fluffy that they came out perfectly anyhow. I think they only took about 25 minutes at 350.

Thank you for this wonderful recipe, I will definitely make it again!

 5. The end results were very delicious, although I had a few unexpected twists along the way. First, I must have heated the butter, sugar, and chocolate chips too quickly, because rather than getting a smooth mixture, I got a lumpy mixture full of rock hard sugar crystals. I almost threw the whole thing out, but decided to keep going since I had done so much. I though perhaps the baking process would soften and break down the crystals (which it did). Second, this was somewhere between brownies and cake. It was a little fluffier than expected, but still good. All in all, I will probably keep this recipe to make again.
