  • 510.29 g pkge. yellow cake mix
  • 59.14 ml sugar
  • 177.44 ml oil
  • 118.29 ml buttermilk or 118.29 ml sour cream
  • 4 eggs, large
  • 9.85 ml vanilla
  • 2 large ripe bananas (1 cup mashed)
  • 236.59 ml miniature semisweet chocolate chips
  • 236.59 ml nuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Mash bananas and set aside.
  2. Combine cake mix, sugar, oil, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and mashed bananas and beat on low speed for 30 seconds, until combined.
  3. Beat at medium speed for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
  5. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 inch cake pans.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 33-38 minutes.
  7. Cool, frost.
