- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup canola oil
- 1 1⁄4 cups sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 4 medium bananas, mashed
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 cup plain yogurt or 1 cup light sour cream
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
directions
- Cream together butter, oil and sugar.
- Add beaten eggs and beat until smooth.
- Add vanilla and mashed bananas. Mix until smooth.
- Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and 1 tsp cinnamon and blend well.
- Add dry ingredients to banana mixture, alternating with yogurt, ending with dry ingredients.
- Pour half the batter into a greased or parchment paper lined 9" x 13" pan.
- Combine cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle half of mixture over the batter in pan.
- Top with half the chocolate chips.
- Repeat layers.
- Bake at 350 F for 45 to 50 minutes.
