  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Butter an 8 x 9 inch pan. Place 4 slices of raisin bread in a single layer in pan. Top with banana slices. Blend milk, cream cheese, eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla together until smooth. Pour over bread and bananas. Top mixture with 4 slices of raisin bread. Let stand 5 minutes (or overnight). Bake 40-45 minutes (50-55 minutes if refrigerated) until set and top is toasted. Remove and let stand 10 minutes. Cut into diagonals. Dust with powdered sugar or maple syrup.
