So easy and delicious. I used 4 large very ripe bananas and recipe #26987 for the syrup. About 1/2 cup chopped pecans was added as the ice cream began to freeze. This was used to make ice cream sandwiches which were made with recipe #336579. Nothing like peanut butter, banana and nuts. Thanks for a great recipe that I am sure to make again.

Very creamy and flavorful ice cream! Remember when making this that your end flavor will only be as intense as your bananas, so make sure the bananas you are are ripe! This is such a nice recipe, I think that when I make it again, I am going to add a fudge ripple when the ice cream begins to form and also perhaps a few toasted almonds or walnuts to make it taste more like a banana split! : ) Thank you for this lovely recipe, duonyte!

This is tasty banana ice cream. The lemon flavor was too strong for us so we added a tsp of vanilla and that cut the lemon flavor. It froze beautifully in the ice cream freezer. If you are going to make this ice cream, I would at least double the recipe so you have more than a couple of bowls full when you are done.
