- 3 bananas, mashed
- 1⁄2 cup applesauce
- 1 -2 tablespoon honey
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1⁄4 cup wheat germ
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 cup ground oats
- 1 cup flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 - 1 cup walnuts (optional)
- raisins (optional)
- white chocolate chips (optional)
directions
- Mash the bananas in a bowl, mix in applesauce, brown sugar and honey. Mix well.
- Stir in just till mixed the wheat germ, oats, flour, cinnamon, baking soda and baking powder.
- Add the optional items at this time too.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
