  • Combine all ingredients in large mixer bowl.
  • Mix until blended, then beat at medium speed for 4 minutes.
  • Turn batter into lightly greased and floured 10" tube pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
  • Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto rack and cool completely.
  • Serve dusted with confectioners' sugar.

  1. This is a very moist and easy to make cake. I agree, the recipe as is, only has a hint of banana. I substitute banana pudding for the vanilla pudding mix and I also add 1 teaspoon of banana extract to bump up the banana flavor. My family, friends and co workers love this cake.

  5. Very good! Both my boys loved it. i've made it twice in 2 weeks. The second time i made muffins which my son promptly ate about 6! Its not as heavy as pound cake in my opinion but still really good and is now my go to recipe for banana bread. thanks!
