  1. Combine wafer crumbs and butter or margarine together thoroughly. Press into 9 inch pie plate. Chill overnight.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in condensed milk, pudding mix, cold milk and vanilla until smooth. Fold in 1/2 of the whipped topping.
  3. Remove pie pan from fridge layer the bottom with bananas circle slices and then add ¼ of filling and with spoon or cake spatula spread smoothed until all is covered.
  4. Top with vanilla wafer crumbs then repeat step 3.
  5. Border all away around with whole wafers and sprinkle rest of vanilla wafer crumbs in center. Chill 6 hours before serving.
