  1. In mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and bananas, mixing well.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and add to butter mixture and blend well.
  4. Add nuts and raisins, then chill the dough for 1 hour.
  5. Dough will be very soft before chilling.
  6. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto parchment lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
