  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Coat the mead with the mix, spiced as you like.
  • Arrange in a single layer in and baking dish.
  • In a medium skillet, melt the butter add sugar, stirring constantly until melted. Stir orange juice and rum into cornstarch and whisk together. Gradually add to sugar mixture.
  • Bring mixture to a boil and reduce heat and simmer, stirring constantly until sauce is thick and clear, about 3 minutes.
  • Add banans and cook until heated through, about 1 minute.
  • Place meat on serving plate and pour banana sauce over it.
  • Serve.
