  • Peel bananas.
  • Slice lengthwise and place in a flat roaster.
  • Add sugar, butter and rum.
  • Cover and heat over medium heat for 10 minutes.
  • Reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes more.

  1. This is yummy, thank you for sharing. I didn't have any rum or brandy, so I used kahluh, and it tasted great!
     
  2. Just made this for a quick dessert after a meal with friends. It worked just great. The only thing I did differently, was I used my grandpa's old cast iron skillet that is huge, and in another skillet toasted pecans with a sprinkle of seasalt. Heavenly. Thanks for the easy, great recipe.
     
  3. Although it was easy to make, we had to throw it out. It turned out to be just a bunch of smooshy bananas. It probably would have been good if there were 1/2 the bananas and 4 times the sauce.
