  1. Oh yeah!! We just got through scarfing these chili dogs down. I put everything in the crockpot after we got home from church. Very easy and the dogs turned out very tender. Kids ate theirs sans onion, but my husband and I had ours loaded up. Delicious and very little effort. Thanks Nurse Di.

  3. awesome and easy to put together. Gonna make them again tomorrow. :-)

  4. This was very good...we spiced it up a little bit for our taste and it was gobbled up!!

  5. Good and definately easy. I also used Hormel canned chili and it came out much more 'soupy' than I thought it would. It's good - but not knock my socks off good. Ease of it - definately knock my socks off!

Tweaks

  1. Taking Jill4man's advice, I made this for a potluck at the office. I used 24 hot dogs, one 25 oz. can of chili, 2 cans of cheddar cheese soup and 8 oz of green chilies. It was delicious and there was plenty of sauce for all of the hot dogs! There is WAY too much testosterone at my place of employment and this was the FIRST dish these boys headed for. And then they went back for more. By the end of the potluck I was able to just take the empty crockpot bag out and throw it away! I am going to make it for DHs next potluck and I think I will add a can of chopped jalapenos instead of green chilies to give it a bit more zip?.

  2. WOW - this was really good and so easy! I varied a few ingrediants. I use jalapenos instead of green chilis (we like it spicy) and I used bratwurst instead of hotdogs. I served it with french fries - the sauce was great on the dogs, plus it makes for great chili-cheese fries! My husband scarfed this up!
