  • Mound apples in buttered pie plate and pour orange juice over them.
  • In separate bowl, combine sugar, flour, spices and salt.
  • Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
  • Sprinkle over apples.
  • Bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
  • Serve warm.

  1. I am a sucker for good apple crisp. A friend of mine made some up north at his cabin. He is a finicky type of cook so I knew it should be good...I was NOT dissapointed.<br/>You will have to try this one and compare to yours.
