Directions

  1. In large pot, sauté onion and garlic in hot oil until soft.
  2. Add bell pepper and set aside.
  3. In large skillet, cook sausage and stew meat until light brown.
  4. Add meat mixture to pot and simmer a few minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Add chili powder and tomatoes and let simmer uncovered for two hours.
  6. Add water if necessary.
  7. Add kidney beans and juice until heated all the way through.
  8. Serve hot.
