  • Melt butter in a Dutch oven. Remove from heat; add Worcestershire sauce, catsup, and hot sauce, stirring well. Add pecans, stirring to coat.
  • Spread pecans evenly in a 15X10X1 jellyroll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 13 to 15 minute, stirring every 5 minutes (very important). Place pecans on paper towels; sprinkle with salt and pepper, cool completely.

  1. Jim, these were just wonderful. I made as directed, though I think next time I will add more hot sauce! DH was skeptical about bbq pecans, but he smelled them baking, and he showed up in the kitchen...I sprinkled some smoked seasoned salt over top of them, and we ate quite a few warm from the oven. Thanks Jim for a great recipe. Made for Maryland Jim's week #10 Football Pool win :)

  2. I thought Ihad put my review in for this during the year, but apparently not. :( These are very good and I was a little "iffy" with catsup as I do not care for it, but with so little I did not even notice. Very good snack for football or any other time. Thanks, Jim!
