Barbecued Shrimp

  • In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce, onions, brown sugar, oil, lemon juice, Worchestershire, salt, pepper, mustard, garlic powder and juice from pineapple.
  • Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  • Pour sauce over shrimp in a shallow bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for several hours., turnung occasionally.
  • Remove shrimp from marinade. Alternately thread shrimp, pineapple, and green pepper on 4 shewers.
  • Place on broiler pan or barbecue grill.
  • Broil or grill 10 to 15 minutes, turning several times.
  • Heat remaining marinade and serve with shrimp.
