  • Mix first 4 ingredients together and leave in bowl overnight.
  • Next day add egg and self-rising flour. Mix well.
  • Pour into greased loaf pan and bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours at 350° .
  • Slice when cooled and spread with butter.
