This had a great flavor! We did fried zucchini sticks and chicken strips with this batter. Both were fantastic and turned out well. I found that rolling each in flour first helped the batter to stick a little better. Also, drop these into the oil, don't use a basket. The batter likes to incorporate itself into the mesh.

After searching for a good batter for onion rings, this is very good. I made the recipe last night for my hubby. He is not afraid to speak his mind, if ya know what I man?LOL! Anyway,he really liked it, so for him, thank you, and for me, a bigger thank you! The onion rings had "flavor", not just bland like so many are. It's useless to have a good presentation, if there is no flavor. So. again, many thanks.
