Basic Sourdough Bread
"Found this recipe on another site recently. I have been using Bergy's Sour Dough Starter #13750. Excellent starter and this is a delicious recipe for the bread machine. Makes a 1-1/2# loaf."

ingredients
- 1 1⁄4 cups sourdough starter
- 1⁄3 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups bread flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons yeast
directions
- Add all ingredients to bread machine pan in the order specified by your directions. Set to white bread cycle.
- Cooking time depends on your machine, my machine is 4 hours.

This bread was tasty, but it did not rise as much as I would have liked. Also, on the first day, it was hard to cut in to. There are other recipes I would try before I would come back to this one
