Directions

  1. Blend together the crust ingredients to form a soft dough. Press into an 8 inch springform pan that has been lightly greased. Cover the bottom and 1 1/2 inches on the sides of the pan.
  2. Blend together the next 5 ingredients for the filling. Pour into crust.
  3. Combine apples with sugar and cinnamon. Place the mixture on top of the filling.
  4. Sprinkle almonds over the top.
  5. Bake at 350 F for 60-70 mns.
  6. Note: an apple crisp topping works as well.
