ingredients

3 garlic cloves
1 red onion
300 ml tomato ketchup
3 tablespoons honey
2 ounces muscovado sugar
1 tablespoon molasses
2 tablespoons chili sauce
50 ml soy sauce
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder
salt & pepper

directions

Fry your onions and garlic in the oil until the onions are softened slightly. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to the boil for a few minutes. Use as a marinade for your chosen meat and leave a little back to baste during your cooking.
