Ingredients Nutrition

  • 4 pork loin (cooked and cut into strips)
  • 0.5 (12 ounce) can beer (about a 1/2 cup)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite kind)
  • 12 slices whole wheat bread (or rolls)
  • shredded cheese (optional)

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan combine pork, bbq sauce and beer.
  2. Cook over high heat until boiling.
  3. Reduce heat to med-low and cover for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve between two slices of bread and top with cheese if desired (better if the bread is toasted).
