  • Heat oil in frying pan at medium temperature. Addonion, celery, green pepper, garlic and stir fry until limp, 2-3 minutes.
  • Add all beans and tomato sauce.
  • Add chili powder, oregano and garlic powder.
  • Heat through and serve. Best if simmered covered for one hour.

  1. Very good! I went ahead and put two teaspoons of sugar in it, because I like chili to be a little sweet. I also substituted a can of chili beans for the the can of mixed beans, because the grocery store didn't have any mixed beans when I went. It was a very tasty, low-cal meal.
