Becky's "popped" Corn

"Yummy recipe I got from a friend at work. She had brought it for a treat for all of us in the farm department at Christmas time. No food lasts long in the farm department, but this was gone in a flash."

  1. I made this popcorn snack this afternoon to take to the neighbors cook-out / bon-fire this evening. It was quite easy to put together and the flavor was great! I made as directed, except I did the same as another reviewer and used white chocolate since I couldn't find almond bark in our local grocery store. Everyone at the cook-out enjoyed these. I will definitely be making this again (especially at the holidays). Thanks for posting. (Made for PAC 2014)

  2. OMG! Connie this recipe should have 10 stars! I scaled the recipe down to 2 servings as I am really trying to cut back on the treats in our house. I had to use salted mixed nuts, and the white chocolate melts (no almond bark). I used movie theater butter microwave popcorn for this. The combination of the sweet candy, the hint of peanut butter, the Rice Krispies, the salty, buttery popcorn & the salted nuts is amazing. This recipe is definitely going into my Christmas goodie collection. I will post a picture after it hardens & I can put it in a pretty bowl (if there is any left). Thank you for posting this recipe Connie. Made for PAC Spring 2011

I retired two years ago and thought I would have more time to devote to baking and cooking - not so much. The time just goes by so fast. My husband and I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends and especially spending time with our three little dogs and one cat.
