Beef and Broccoli Crock Pot

"I found this recipe on the internet and have since made it several times. As it is very basic, add spices of your choice to increase the flavor. I am unsure of the size of the package of McCormick brown gravy mix so I guessed."

  1. I was pretty impressed with this dish. Just make sure not to overcook it as then everything gets taken over by the broccoli taste. The meat was so tender and good.

I am married to a beautiful wife and we have two beautiful children (ages 3 and 5). I love to cook whenever I have the chance. Problem is, so does my wife, so we wrestle over the chance often! We both work (social services with teenagers) so slow cooker recipes are common. In the summer I love to grill as often as possible. I do not usually do side dishes or desserts, my abilities with desserts especially are limited. My wife on the other hand is great with them. I love gardening, planting every spring. I focus on a variety of the easier veggies (tomatoes, okra, squash, etc.) and heavily on hot peppers (habeneros, serrano, etc.). It is "therapy" for me, working in the garden. I love the outdoors.<img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/PACsticker-Adopted.jpg">
