  1. I found this recipe to be fairly easy and delicious. Unfortunately DH does not like anise which is part of the Chinese Five Spice. Therefore while I would recommend it, it's not something we're going to make again here as it stands. I'm thinking about trying it again, once I figure out a replacement for the Five Spice. I'd probably use less peppers as well since DD prefers her peppers raw to cooked.

  2. It's rare indeed that I eat a second helping of anything, but I just had to have more of this delicious dish. I served it over angel hair pasta, and it was wonderful. It's easy and fast enough for an everyday dinner, but I warn you--feed this to your family once, and they'll expect great things from you all the time! Made for Newest Zaar Tag.

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside . . . Chardonnay in one hand . . .chocolate in the other; the body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!"
