  1. This is fantastic. It was easy to make and filled the place with delish aromas! The only thing I did different is add some frozen peas and chopped onion, along with the pearl onions. I served it over rice. It was great! Thank you for the recipe, yooper!

  2. What a wonderful meal, I used blade steak and had to add an extra 1/2 cup broth..I also used 8 small onions instead of frozen ones. Red wine in a beef stew is divine..the smell while cooking filled the kitchen with n amazing aroma..great recipe yooper.

  3. This is fabulous!! It's actually cold here in Florida for a change, and I went looking for a meal to warm us up..and did I ever pick a winner!! The meat is so tender, and the broth is delicious. The taste is outstanding!! The only change I made was to add an additional 10 ounce can of beef consume when I added the vegetables, because it didn't seem to have enough liquid...otherwise, I made the recipe as written. Flavorful and hearty--this is definitely a 5 star keeper!! Thank you !! Teresa
