Beef Ribs and Sauce

"I have made this several times in the past, it is a delicious way to make beef ribs...the sauce from this is really good. Instead of broiling the ribs, you can grill then on the BBQ, and then finish baking in the oven with the sauce. If you are making more than 4 pounds of ribs, then double the sauce ingredients. Potato pancakes go wonderful with this, see my recipe#129156. Cooking time does not include broiling or grilling the ribs."

  1. Yummy. I'm so glad that I tried this wonderful recipe Kitten. I love beef ribs and this recipe made them so wonderfully delicious. They were worth the extra work and time. The ribs were so tender and the sauce was to die for. Who knew - tomato soup. Thanks so much for sharing my friend. Kudos to you on making it into my Best of Cookbook for 2020.

  2. This was the second time I have made these after a few years. The first time I barbecued them through the whole process, and they turned out pretty good. This time , I baked them. I browned them for 20 minutes by just baking them at the 325 and not broiling them. Everything else I did just as stated in this great recipe. The sauce is out of this world good. I baked the ribs for a little over 2 hours. I only used a single rack of beef back ribs, so there was more than enough sauce to baste them with :) AWESOME RECIPE, best beef ribs hands down. This needs way more votes, and a lot more people trying it out !!!! Thank you !!!! :)

  3. These were scrumptious, the sauce is to die for. My DH loved these beef ribs, because of the sauce. I made the sauce as stated, BUT, I didn't use the oil that the recipe called for, just enough to saute the onions before adding the other ingredients. I used brown sugar splenda instead of regular brown sugar also add 2 teaspoons liquid smoke as I baked the ribs instead of broiling them or grilling. I covered the ribs with foil and baked in a slow(325 degree) oven for 1&1/2 hours, then added the sauce, covered with the foil and baked for 1&1/2 hours. They were very tender and yummy. I am going to also make pork and chicken using the sauce recipe. Thank you Kitten, for this Delicious recipe.
