- 1 - 1 1⁄2 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup celery, chopped
- 8 ounces mushrooms
- 1 cup mixed vegetables
- 12 ounces beef gravy (I use Pepperidge Farm gravy)
- 3 -4 tablespoons water
- 1 dash Mrs. Dash table blend seasoning
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 6 -8 biscuits, cut into quarters

- Brown ground beef with onion, celery, and mushrooms until beef is completely browned (no pink) and the vegetables are tender. Add the mixed vegetables, gravy, water, and Ms Dash. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour mixture into a 2-quart baking dish sprayed with nonstick cooking spray or olive oil spray. Lay biscuits on the top of the mixture. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown and beef mixture is bubbly.
