Beer Batter
"This is a light batter. It makes great onion rings. I'm not sure where the recipe came from, but I remember having the onion rings growing up."

ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 1⁄2 cups cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons oil
- 1⁄4 cup baking powder
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12 ounce) can beer or (12 ounce) can water
- Worcestershire sauce (add until batter turns brown)
directions
- Mix ingredients well. Slice onions, dip in batter and fry.
