  1. Heat oven to 400.
  2. After washing potoes,rub them with oil.
  3. Bake them for 1 hour,or until done.
  4. Beating well,combine the next 5 ingredients.
  5. Stir the beer in.
  6. Cut the potatoes lengthwise to4 wedges.
  7. Dip each wedge into the batter,and fry in deep fat.
  8. Fry until golden in color.
  9. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
