  1. We love this bread. We have tried different beer brands and by far the best beer we have found to make this bread is Guinness, hands down. I also add an egg to the liquid for added nutrition. I add a tad more of each dry ingredient to make up for the added liquid.

  2. Best bread I ever eaten I used beer straight out of can that was straight out of the fridge. Yummy recipe can’t thank u enough.

  3. I found almost the exact same recipe about 15 years ago. The only difference is 1/4 cup canola oil instead of 2 TB of olive oil. And 1-2 TB of molasses or honey in addition to sugar. I made terrible to fair bread for 20 years until I found this recipe. I’ve developed multiple versions over the years. I’ve got it setup in the bread maker now on the timer. I’m using Swerve brown sugar replacement instead of sugar and molasses as I’m mostly sugar free now. A wonderful, versatile recipe that family and friends love.

  4. Turned out great with a double IPA! So good I'm making it for the co-workers with a smoked spicy chicken breast lunch meat and cheddar sandwiches. The kids even loved it and they hate everything but mac and cheese hahaha! Thankyou for sharing this recipe.

  5. This bread is delicious! Followed the recipe as written, except I didn't let the beer warm to room temperature. It turned out wonderfully! The texture of the bread was perfect and loved that it didn't have that slight bitter taste that some beer breads have. Highly recommend this recipe. A keeper for sure!
