  1. I made these cookies for our Christmas Party. Folks loved them and were intrigued by the somewhat different flavor and pretty appearance. So many recipes call for pecans on top, so the almonds set this apart. I used whole natural almonds that I ground in my Cuisinart. The sprinkling of cinnamon and sugars made this a crowd pleaser. To top it off, this recipe was easy to make! I'll enjoy making these again!

  2. I had to bake a festive recipe from Belgium and this on worked well and was quite tasty. It was quite simple to make after I got the almond extract. I wish there was information on why they eat these at Christmas, but otherwise it was perfect.

  3. I wanted to try something new this year for Christmas desserts to pass out to my family. This recipe was very simple but very delicious. My mother (who absolutely hates to try anything new) loves these cookies so much she even asked me for the recipe.
