  • Combine ingredients together in a large bowl to form a dough.
  • Roll into balls and place into the Lukken iron (Lukijyer) or Pizzelle iron until golden brown.

  2. When we make lukken we speed up the preparation by not rolling small balls of dough. Instead, we roll it into several tubes about 1 inch in diameter and refrigerate wrapped in wax paper. Then you can slice the dough into 1/4 inch circles and fry on the iron.
     
  3. Very Yummy. I used a pizzelle maker to make the cookies which meant it took a very long time. It helped when I refrigerated the dough to make it more moldable. I flattened the balls into discs.
