  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Beat Butter and Sugars until creamy.
  • Add Eggs and Vanilla.
  • Mix Flour, Salt, and Baking Soda together in a separate bowl.
  • Add flour mixture into the butter mixture until well blended.
  • Next add the Chocolate Chips and the Walnuts.
  • Using a Tablespoon, drop cookie dough onto your cookie sheet, about 3 inches apart (approximately 24 cookies).
  • Bake cookies for 11 to 14 minute Let cookies cool and Enjoy!

  1. Nice and chewy, but best fresh out of the oven. I overbaked some of them a little, but otherwise they were very nice and soft.
     
  2. Superb! I used a 1/4c to measure the dough and baked at 350 for 14 minutes.... then they really were GIANT! Didn't add the walnuts.

  5. So chewy, so yummy! I was unfortuante to come across this recipe, because I like to watch what I eat and I now crave these cookies all the time. I have made them 3 times and am going to have to make them again on the weekend. A must try.

I have learned alot about cooking and baking from my Grandmother's and my Aunt's.We do a lot of canning, things like Jellies and Apple butter, Chow Chow,Mixed pickles, Strawberry jam, Gr. Beans and Pickled Beats. And my favorite is the homemade Strawberry Jam. We have even had several Mollasses Stir Offs in the Fall at my Church & we make Apple Butter and Cider. I was raised in the Southeast and we love to COOK. It must be something in the water? LOL & If it involves cooking count me in!!! I Love the Food Network and all the cooking shows. I Have found alot of great recipes and made alot of friends from this Web site.
