  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix milk, vegetable oil, zest and vanilla in a medium sized bowl.
  3. Beat in eggs
  4. In big mixing bowl, mix the flours, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
  5. Stir small bowl contents into big bowl in two to three steps.
  6. Stir in the jelly until evenly distributed.
  7. Fold in the fruit.
  8. Grease muffin cups well- or use paper liners.
  9. Pour dough into cups and sprinkle each top with vanilla sugar
  10. Bake for about 25 minutes, until muffins are lightly browned.
