  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Mix milk, vegetable oil, zest and vanilla in a medium sized bowl.
  • Beat in eggs
  • In big mixing bowl, mix the flours, sugar, salt and baking powder together.
  • Stir small bowl contents into big bowl in two to three steps.
  • Stir in the jelly until evenly distributed.
  • Fold in the fruit.
  • Grease muffin cups well- or use paper liners.
  • Pour dough into cups and sprinkle each top with vanilla sugar
  • Bake for about 25 minutes, until muffins are lightly browned.
