Berry Yoghurt Smoothie

"I got this recipe from Sarah Owen's book "The Top 100 juices", published by Lifetime Distributers, Castle Hill, Australia. Sarah Owen says "The super-nutrient vitamin C is needed for more than 300 diferent processes in the body, but it is easily wiped out by smoking, pollution and stress. Found in abundance in berries, vitamin C and other antioxidants help to quash the damaging free radicals that are associated with many illnesses." The original recipe calls for natural bio yoghurt to be used, but any yoghurt will do. This makes a large amount of smoothie, and if you're making it just for yourself, I'ld recommend halving it. I hope you enjoy this healthy - but still tasty - smoothie :)"

  1. OH YUM! DD and I had this for breakfast this morning before she went off to school.(NO COCO PUFFS FOR HER THIS MORNING LOL) I had some frozen berries in my freezer so that is what I used and I threw in 1/2 of a banana. SO rich and creamy! I will be adding this recipe to my quick and healthy breakfast menu. Thanks for sharing. Made to thank you for your nice review and just because it looked good! Hey. I'm Talia. I like homemade food. I like Mexican restaurants. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I live in AUSTRALIA! I'm not much of a fussy eater, but I like for my food to be healthy. I think healthy food can be fun, and I love to eat! I don't really use cookbooks. I look up recipes on the internet, make them up, etc. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, but that's life. I don't bite (much) so you can add me or email me or whatever it is on this site. :P Have a nice day! :) <img src="http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j166/ZaarNicksMom/PACsticker-Adopted.jpg">
