  1. Blend butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl.
  2. Add eggs; using a wooden spoon, beat well.
  3. Combine flour, cocoa,baking powder, and salt; gradually stir into egg mixture.
  4. Add maple syrup.
  5. Spread in GREASED 9-inch pan.
  6. Bake at 350º for 20-25 minutes or until brownie begins to peel away from edges of pan.
  7. Cool; cut into squares.
