  • 1 12 lbs real butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 9 eggs
  • 4 12 cups flour, sifted
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 3 -4 teaspoons flavoring (I use 1t vanilla and 2t lemon juice)

directions

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Cream butter and sugar.
  • Add eggs one at a time.
  • Add sifted flour a cup at a time.
  • Add milk and flavoring.
  • Pour into a greased bundt cake pan.
  • Bake about 1 hour.

  1. This was made for PAC Spring 2009 and is a very excellent pound cake. The next time I make it I will make it in two loaf pans so that I can freeze one, the cake itself is a little large for just the two of us.
