directions

  • In a large deep frying pan, over medium high heat, saute red and green pepper, celery and onion in olive oil, until softened. About 5 minutes. Remove from pan, and set aside.
  • In same pan, cook sausage, browning on all sides. Add cooked vegetables, stewed tomatoes, and Zatatrain's Jambalaya Mix. Add water/chicken and cover pan. Cook stirring occaisionally about 15 minutes.
  • Add clams, mussels, shrimp, green beans, and peas. Cook an additional 15 minutes.
  • Serve with crusty bread for sopping up some fantastic sauce. Add hot sauce to you liking. I am not a huge fan of spicy, so this is tangy enough for me.

  1. This was wonderful!! Great taste, easy to prepare and a hit with my family. Just enough heat too! I was not able to get mussels and did forgot the green beans at the store so I just did without, I don't think it made a difference.....since there was only three of us for dinner I used the small box of Zatarain's jambalaya mix and halved the other ingredients. I had enough to easily feed six people!! I will definitly make this again, thanks so much for such an easy recipe.

  2. Made this tonight! Added last night's grilled chicken, and some frozen corn/peas! FANTASTIC!!

  3. Made this last night and it was great! I did't add clams (yuck), and I added some cooked chunk chicken, peppers and onions (left over from home made fajita's). This was so good, I will made it a weekly staple! It took a little time, but it was well worth it! Thanks for posting

I grew up in New Jersey with an Italian mother, and Ukranian father. Needless to say I developed a love for a wide variety of foods! I love the Polish Ukranian influence my paternal side brought forth, as well as the traditional Italian cuisine from my mother's side of the family. For me, I have a passion for chocolate and desserts! I always use real butter, rich cream, sugar, and real vanilla, but I understand why we substitute them, and believe all of my recipes fare well with the substitutions, if you choose to do so. I only use salt in my potatoes, so don't expect to see too much of it in any of my recipes!Every recipe I publish has been time tested, and tasted, and raved about! So I guarantee, you'll be happy with every one you try! Thanks for visiting! I hope you come back again!
