  • Moisten breadcrumbs with milk.
  • Add meat and form into 4 patties.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Brown patties in oil.
  • Add Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, sugar, ketchup, and onion.
  • Cover and cook 10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately on hamburger buns.
  • recpe may be doubled.

I did alter the recipe slightly because I added additional Worchestershire sauce, onion, and minced garlic to the meat itself. I also used ground turkey instead of ground beef. This will become a staple in our household

  4. I used frozen hamburger patties that come in the big bag at the big box stores. The sauce had a good BBQ flavor and was a nice change of pace from a regular hamburger.
     
  5. I have made these burgers many times and I think they are pretty tasty. This is one of my grandsons most favorite recipes. Now that he is older whenever we have them I let him be the chef. They are so simple to prepare, inexpensive, and a real kid pleaser.

I am 30 years old. I am married and have a wonderful family. My hubbie is the greatest. We have a 2 1/2 year old little girl. Her name is Lizzie Belle. I have pics if anyone wants to see. I work for a bank in Brandon, MS. My hubbie is a police officer in Jackson. I have a great cookbook that is called "Any Blonde Can Cook". It is awesome. I love to cook...when I have the time.
